How Do I Find the Best Place to Get Dental Work Done?
Firstly, you should think about the things that you find important, such as hours of operation, credentials, location, payment/fees, safety, and insurance. You also want to know the kind of dental services you’re looking for. Do you need help treating sleep apnea? Are you struggling with a TMJ disorder? Are you seeking an implant dentist near Schaumburg? Some offices may be better suited for certain treatments than others. Last but not least, get a feel for your dental team and how they interact with patients. At Westgate Dental Care, we prioritize personalized treatment plans so that we can address every person’s unique needs. You can also learn more about the team by reading our bios!
How Do I Get Emergency Dental Care?
Always call our office if you suspect you have a dental emergency, as someone from our team will be able to pencil you in for the earliest appointment. However, if your situation is more serious, like a broken/dislocated jaw or excessive bleeding, then call 911 and go straight to your nearest ER first. They can help manage your symptoms and provide antibiotics so that you’re safe until you can visit your dentist. At Westgate Dental Care, we offer same-day appointments as well as evening hours, that way you’re more likely to get treated when you need help. Don’t forget that dental emergencies often come from bigger underlying oral health issues, so you’ll want to visit your dentist every six months to improve your chance of avoiding an urgent situation in the future.
What Do You Do If You Can’t Afford a Dentist?
When it comes to dentistry, prevention is the name of the game. You can save much more by visiting your dentist for checkups and cleanings twice yearly. That said, dental insurance is a fantastic tool for lowering your out-of-pocket costs, and your policy will typically help cover the entire price of preventive care. If you don’t have coverage, then you might consider looking into our in-house dental savings plan for significant discounts or financing through CareCredit to turn your treatment(s) into monthly installments. Our team also has special offers for new patients without insurance, that way you can enjoy essential dental care at a low price of $395.
How Much Does it Cost to Get a Tooth Removed Without Insurance?
The price of a tooth extraction can vary based on things like geography and other factors, like your current dental health. On average, however, the cost of this treatment across the United States is generally between $150 and $400. You’ll also want to consider other services that might be needed or performed, such as sedation dentistry, which can impact the overall value. Wisdom teeth extractions usually come with a higher price due to their location and specialized care. If you have insurance, then the cost of tooth extractions might be negotiated between your dentist and provider.
